Dr. John Kim

Dr. John Kim grew up in Southern California alongside his older sister and younger brother. Inspired from an early age by his parents’ careers in healthcare, he spent much of his childhood around their medical practices—even pitching in to fix the office computers! Staying active was equally important; he spent his youth playing competitive baseball, soccer, and tennis.

When he isn't helping patients achieve healthy smiles, Dr. Kim stays active by playing soccer, hiking, and traveling—almost always accompanied by his favorite four-legged companion, his dog. A lifelong learner at heart, his curiosity extends well beyond dentistry. He always welcomes a lively conversation with patients about great books, new hobbies, or unique interests!

Dr. Kim earned his bachelor’s degree from Pomona College. After a brief but valuable career in corporate consulting, his true calling to healthcare led him to the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He has since spent years delivering exceptional dental care across the West, including two years in Arizona focusing heavily on advanced dental implants, followed by dedicated patient care in Seattle and Los Angeles. Today, he is proud to call the Bay Area home, where he loves being close to his young nephews.

Contributing to the community is a core pillar of Dr. Kim’s life. In addition to volunteering his dental services to underserved local communities, he has participated in humanitarian mission trips to Indonesia and China, helping build homes and lead youth programs. He looks forward to bringing that same spirit of service to his dental family every day.
